Basil And Provolone Panini

Ingredients

  • Servings: 2
  • 2 bolillo rolls, split
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons mayonnaise
  • 2 ounces provolone cheese, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup thinly sliced fresh basil
  • 1/4 cup thinly sliced red bell pepper

Recipe

  • 1 preheat panini grill to high.
  • 2 place rolls, cut side down, on a work surface and brush crusts with oil.
  • 3 turn rolls over and spread evenly with mayonnaise.
  • 4 on bottom halves, evenly layer provolone, basil, and red pepper.
  • 5 cover with top halves and press gently to pack.
  • 6 place sandwiches in grill; close the top plate and cook until golden brown, 3-4 minutes.
  • 7 serve immediately.
