Peanut Butter Dipped Sandwich Cookies

Ingredients

• 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
• 1 (4 ounce) package round butter flavored crackers
• 1 cup milk chocolate chips
• 1 tablespoon shortening

Recipe

• 1 spread peanut butter on half of the crackers.
• 2 top with remaining crackers to make sandwiches.
• 3 refrigerate.
• 4 in a double boiler, over simmering water, melt chocolate chips and shortening, stirring until smooth.
• 5 dip sandwiches and place on waxed paper until chocolate hardens.
