Provolone Burgers

Ingredients
- Servings: 8
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 3 teaspoons dried basil
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 3 lbs ground beef
- 8 slices provolone cheese
- 8 sandwich buns, split
- lettuce
Recipe
- 1 in a bowl, combine the first seven ingredients.
- 2 crumble beef over mixture; mix well.
- 3 shape into eight patties.
- 4 grill, uncovered, over medium-hot heat for 5-7 minutes on each side or until juices run clear.
- 5 top each patty with a cheese slice; grill 1 minute longer or until cheese is melted.
- 6 grill rolls cut side down for 1-2 minutes or until toasted.
- 7 top with lettuce& burgers.
