  • 4 cups celery, chopped fine
  • 1 cup onion, chopped fine
  • 2 cups pickle relish
  • 2 cups pimientos, chopped

Recipe

  • 1 combine all ingredients.
  • 2 chill to 40 degrees celsius.
  • 3 assemble sandwiches.
  • 4 1/2 cup egg salad.

  • 1/2 medium red onion, chopped

  • 1 peel eggs and place them into a medium sized bowl. add mayonnaise, salt, pepper, and dill. then with a fork, mash ingredients together, mashing and stirring until well blended.
  • 2 spread a little butter on each slice of bread. then top half of the slices with egg mixture. cover with the remaining slices, buttered side down.
  • 3 cut crusts off sandwiches and then cut them into quarters.

  • 2 teaspoons honey
  • 1/4 teaspoon grated lemon rind
  • 4 ounces goat cheese
  • 8 slices cinnamon raisin bread
  • 2 tablespoons fig preserves
  • 2 teaspoons basil, thinly sliced
  • 1 tablespoon margarine, to coat bread (or cooking spray)
  • 1 teaspoon powdered sugar

Recipe

  • 1 combine honey, lemon rind, and goat cheese, stirring till blended. spread 1 tbls. goat cheese mixture on each of 4 bread slices; top each slice with 1 1/2 teaspoons preserves and 1/2 teaspoons basil. top with remaining bread slices. lightly coat oustide of each sandwich with margarine or cooking spray.
  • 2 heat a large nonstick skillet over medium heat. add 2 sandwiches to the pan. place a weight(cast iron or heavy skillet) on top of sandwiches; press gently to flatten. cookk 3 minutes on each side, or until bread is lightly toasted, leaving pan on top of sandwiches as they cook.
  • 3 repeat with remaining sandwiches. sprinkle with powdered sugar.
  • 4 makes 4 sandwiches.

  • 4 slices bread
  • 1 -2 tablespoon butter, at room temp
  • 2 -3 tablespoons creamy peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup mini chocolate chip
  • 1/4-1/2 cup mini marshmallows

  • 1 spread butter on one side of each slice of bread (like you do with grilled cheese sandwiches).
  • 2 on two of the slices of bread spread an even layer of creamy peanut butter on the side that is not buttered.
  • 3 top each of these two slices with an even layer of mini chocolate chips and then and even layer of mini marshmallows.
  • 4 top each of these slices with the other 2 slices of bread buttered side out.
  • 5 grill in a saute pan over medium heat until lightly browned on both sides and the marshmallows and chocolate chips are slightly melted and gooey.

  • 4 chicken breasts, cooked seasoned and chopped
  • 1 green onion, diced (or 1/8 sweet, yellow or red onion)

  • 1 combine, chill (or not) and serve as desired. this will make enough for 6 - 10 depending on how served. use more or less mayo to taste. use real dill pickle juice.
  • 2 like with any recipe, don't exactly multiply the liquid all at once - add extra a little at a time until the consistency/taste is the way you like it.

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon each baking soda and salt
  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, at room temperature
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 6 cups butterscotch ripple ice cream

  • 1 preheat oven to 350°f (180°c). in a small bowl, whisk flour with baking soda and salt. using an electric mixer, in a large bowl, beat peanut butter with butter until smooth. beat in brown sugar then egg and vanilla, scraping down sides to mix well. gradually beat in flour mixture.
  • 2 if needed, flour your hands then roll dough into 1 1/2–inch (4 cm) balls. place at least 2 inches (5 cm) apart on ungreased baking sheets. flour the base of a large glass and press on each ball to flatten cookie to about 3 inches (7.5 cm). using floured tines of a fork, make criss–crosses gently on top of cookies.
  • 3 bake in centre of preheated oven until golden and barely set and edges are brown, 10 to 12 minutes. remove from oven and leave on baking sheet 1 minute, then transfer to a rack to cool completely.
  • 4 for easier spreading, soften ice cream slightly. top flat side of one cookie with about 1/2 cup (125 ml) ice cream. then place flat side of another cookie on top, sandwiching ice cream. unfilled cookies will last well in an airtight container for about 5 days, or freeze. ice cream sandwiches should be wrapped in plastic wrap then overwrapped with foil.

Recipe

  • 1 heat oven to 375.
  • 2 mix all ingredients and shape into 1 1/4-inch balls.
  • 3 place 3 inches apart on cookie sheet.
  • 4 flatten in criss-cross pattern with floured fork.
  • 5 bake until brown, 9 to 11 minutes.
  • 6 when cool press 1 slightly rounded tablespoon of ice cream between cookies. freeze until firm.
  • 7 melt 1 package semisweet chocolate chips with 2 tablespoons shortening over stove, stirring occasionally. let stand 2 minutes, then dip half of each sandwich into chocolate.
  • 8 place in pan; freeze until firm. store wrapped in plastic wrap.

  • 2 tablespoons green onions
  • 2 tablespoons chopped green olives
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise or 1/4 cup miracle whip
  • 1 tablespoon horseradish sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive juice

Recipe

  • 1 for best results in making the eggs easier to peel follow these instructions:.
  • 2 place the eggs in a small saucepan and cover with cold water.
  • 3 place the pan on the stove and bring to a boil.
  • 4 as soon as the water comes to a boil remove it from the burner and set it aside.
  • 5 let the eggs sit in the pan of water for 10 minutes.
  • 6 drain water from the pan and put ice cubes on the eggs.
  • 7 fill with cold water and let the eggs set until cool enough to handle.
  • 8 crack and peel eggs under cold running water and place in a bowl.

  • 10 add the chopped green onions and olives and mix well.

Leftover Thanksgiving Dinner Sandwich

  • 2 slices bread (sliced thick)
  • 4 slices turkey (thinly sliced)
  • 2 slices onions (thinly sliced)
  • 2 tablespoons prepared stuffing

  • 1 smear mayo on both slices of bread.
  • 2 layer turkey, onion, stuffing and havatti cheese on one piece of bread. sprinkle with salt and pepper.

  • 4 place in panini maker and cook until nicely toasted and cheese is melted.
  • 5 place on plate and drizzle with turkey gravy that was warming while sandwich was toasting.

  • 12 round jimmy dean breakfast sausage patties
  • 12 cheese slices
  • 12 english muffins

Recipe

  • 1 in a fry pan, cook sausage according to directions.
  • 2 while sausage is cooking, use a glass or round cookie cutter to cut out the cheese into circles approximately the same size as the english muffins, 1 for each sandwich.
  • 3 toast enough english muffins for each sausage.
  • 4 after the sausage has cooked and been cooled, assemble sandwiches -- english muffin bottom, sausage, cheese round and english muffin top.
  • 5 wrap each sandwich individually with saran wrap and freeze.

  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2-1 teaspoon celery salt

  • 1 in a bowl combine chicken, seasoning salt, black pepper and celery seed, stir.
  • 2 in a seperate bowl combine sour cream and ranch packet, mix well.

Jen's Ham & Cheese Toasted Sandwiches

Ingredients

  • 120 g butter (softened)
  • 2 tablespoons dijon mustard
  • 1 loaf multigrain bread (20 slices)
  • 500 g ham (sliced thinly off the bone or shaved ham from the deli)
  • 500 g mozzarella cheese (grated)

Recipe

  • 1 mix the softened butter with the mustard and spread on the bread slices.
  • 2 cover half of them with the ham and then place the remaining slices on top, butter side up.
  • 3 place a sheet of baking paper on a tray and place on sandwiches. this can now be covered with plastic wrap & placed in the fridge until about 15 minutes before cooking to allow the sandwiches to come back to room temperature.
  • 4 toast the sandwiches under a hot grill butter side up until golden brown.
  • 5 turn them over and cover generously with grated cheese making sure you cover right to the edges so the crusts don't burn.
  • 6 return to under the hot grill and cook until the cheese is bubbling and golden brown.
  • 7 transfer to a board and cut into halves or quarters and serve immediately. enjoy :).

  • 1 preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
  • 2 get a cookie sheet, and line it with aluminum foil.
  • 3 place your 3 strips of bacon on the cookie sheet and place in the oven.
  • 4 keep bacon in the oven until brown and crispy ( you want it crispy, but not hard and not to soft).
  • 5 while bacon is cooking, get some papertowel, and the rest of your ingredients ready.
  • 6 when bacon is done take out of oven, and immediately take it of the pan, and transfer it to your papertowel to drain and cool.( may need a second papertowel to help blot oil.).

  • 1 bring a medium saucepan of water to a boil; decrease heat so the water simmers gently.

  • 1 in a medium bowl, combine dressing, chipotle chile and sour cream. refrigerate until ready to use or for up to 6 hours.

Recipe

  • 1 butter one side of each slice of texas toast. on the unbuttered sides of four slices, layer cheddar cheese, half of the ham, onion if desired and remaining ham; spread with ranch dressing. top with pepper jack cheese and remaining toast, buttered side up.
  • 2 on a hot griddle, cook sandwiches for 3 - 4 minutes or until bottoms of sandwiches are browned. carefully turn; cook 2 minutes longer or until cheese is melted.
