Ginger Cream Triangles

Ingredients

  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2/3 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 24 slices thin-sliced whole wheat bread

Recipe

  • 1 beat cream cheese and mayo at medium speed of electric mixer until smooth and fluffy.
  • 2 stir in pecans and ginger, distributing evenly.
  • 3 remove crust from bread.
  • 4 spread cream cheese mixture evenly over 12 slices of bread.
  • 5 place remaining bread slices over cream cheese mixture to make sandwiches.
  • 6 cut each sandwich into 4 triangles.
