Ice Cream Sandwich Frozen ' Layered Cake'

Ingredients
- Servings: 6
- 16 -24 ice cream sandwiches
- 1 (16 ounce) container cool whip
- 1/2 cup sliced almonds
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup butter
Recipe
- 1 line bottom of square cake pan pan with almonds, then spread 1/4 of cool whip on top of them.
- 2 cut all ice cream sandwiches in half then lay them side by side on top of cool whip.
- 3 spread another layer of cool whip then more almonds.
- 4 lay rest of ice cream sandwich halves then another layer of cool whip.
- 5 freeze completely.
- 6 melt butter and chocolate in microwave and spread over top.
- 7 freeze until chocolate is cold and hard.
- 8 when ready to serve take knife along the edges of pan to loosen, flip upside down and there ya go--pretty huh?
