Sandwiches From Roast Leftovers

Total Time: 15 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • cooked beef or lamb, leftovers
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1/2 cup brown sauce (hp or heinz 57)
  • 1/3 cup vinegar
  • 1 spanish onion, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 4 -6 italian rolls
  • mozzarella cheese, grated

Recipe

  • 1 combine ketchup, bbq sauce, brown sauce& vinegar.
  • 2 cut meat into 2 inch strips, add to sauce mixture& marinade overnight.
  • 3 warm meat mixture in a heavy pot.
  • 4 cook onion in oil.
  • 5 hollow out buns and fill with meat mixture.
  • 6 top with fried onions& grated mozarella.
  • 7 place under broiler for 5 minutes or until cheese melts.
