Chicken Melt

Total Time: 35 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 1
  • 1 slice onion (thick)
  • 2 slices rye bread
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 grilled chicken breast
  • 2 slices swiss cheese

Recipe

  • 1 saute onion in half the butter till golden.
  • 2 set aside.
  • 3 heat non stick pan.
  • 4 spread butter on both slices of bread.
  • 5 place one slice of bread, buttered side down in pre-heated pan.
  • 6 put one slice of cheese, onions, chicken breast, one slice of cheese and then the remaining slice of bread with the buttered side up.
  • 7 continue to cook until bread on bottom is brown and toasty.
  • 8 turn the entire sandwich and toast the other side and wait for cheese to get melty.
  • 9 slice in half and enjoy.
