Prevention Magazines Chicken Burgers

Total Time: 40 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 1/2 cup red bell pepper, chopped
  • 1/4 cup green bell pepper, chopped
  • 1/4 cup red onion, chopped
  • 1/4 cup celery, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 tablespoon light soy sauce
  • 1 cup soft breadcrumbs

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 350 °f.
  • 2 mix all ingredients together until just combined. add black pepper to taste. divide mixture to make 4 patties, and place on a greased baking sheet.
  • 3 bake 12 to 15 minutes on each side, or until meat has reached 170°f
  • 4 variation: if you prefer, fry the patties in canola oil, 8-10 minutes per side.
  • 5 makes 4 servings.
