Grilled Cheese With Pear And Arugula

Total Time: 10 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 5 mins

Ingredients

  • 2 teaspoons butter, divided (maybe more)
  • 4 slices multigrain bread
  • 4 ounces sliced cheddar cheese
  • 1 small pear, thinly sliced
  • 1 -2 cup arugula leaf

Recipe

  • 1 melt 1 teas (or more) butter in large skillet over medium heat.
  • 2 rub two bread slices around the skillet to coat one side with melted butter, then flip bread to toast the dry side for about 1 minute.
  • 3 flip bread buttered-side down again and top one piece with half the cheese, pear and arugula; top with the other bread slice, butter-side up.
  • 4 grill until golden brown, about 1 minuted per side.
