Cowboy Shredded Beef

Ingredients

- 3 lbs boneless chuck roast
- 1/4 cup vinegar
- 1 tablespoon accent seasoning
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
- 1 small onion, diced
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon dry mustard
- 1/2 cup butter (optional)
Recipe
- 1 put all ingredients except butter in a cooking pot and simmer for 3 to 4 hours until very tender.
- 2 stir and shred beef.
- 3 (the original recipe now calls for stirring in 1 stick of butter which makes this very rich and delicious but also high in fat content! i leave it out and stir in 1/2 to 1 bottle of our favorite barbeque sauce sometimes) serve on buns.
