Simple Hummus

Total Time: 20 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 2/3 cup tahini
  • 1 lemon, juice of
  • 15 ounces chickpeas, drained (garbanzo beans)
  • 1 tablespoon cumin
  • 1 garlic clove, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 dash salt, to taste
  • 1 dash black pepper, to taste

Recipe

  • 1 1. just mash everything together with a fork, or use a food processor.
  • 2 2. use on sandwiches, for dipping veggies, pita bread, etc.
