Ice Cream Sandwich Dessert

Ingredients

  • Servings: 15
  • 19 ice cream sandwiches
  • 1 (12 ounce) carton frozen whipped topping, thawed
  • 1 (11 3/4 ounce) jar chocolate fudge topping
  • 1 cup salted peanuts

Recipe

  • 1 cut one ice cream sandwich in half.
  • 2 place one whole and one half sandwich along a short side of an ungreased 13x9x2 inch pan.
  • 3 arrange eight sandwiches in opposite direction in the pan.
  • 4 spread with half of the whipped topping.
  • 5 spoon fudge topping by teaspoonfuls onto whipped topping.
  • 6 sprinkle with 1/2 cup peanuts.
  • 7 repeat layers with remaining ice cream sandwiches, whipped topping and peanuts.
  • 8 pan will be full.
  • 9 cover and freeze.
  • 10 remove from freezer 20 minutes before serving.
  • 11 cut into squares.
  • 12 can be frozen up to 2 months.
