Peanut Butter Ice Cream Sandwich Dessert

Ingredients

- 19 ice cream sandwiches
- 1 (16 ounce) jar hot fudge
- 3/4 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 (12 ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed
- 1 cup salted peanuts
Recipe
- 1 pour the hot fudge into a medium microwave safe bowl and microwave 2 minutes on high. do not allow to boil.
- 2 stir peanut butter into hot fudge until smooth.
- 3 allow to cool to room temperature.
- 4 line the bottom of a 9x13 inch dish with a layer of ice cream sandwiches, using 9 1/2 sandwiches.
- 5 spread half the whipped topping over the sandwiches.
- 6 using half the chocolate mixture, put 9 mounds on top and swirl with knife to distribute.
- 7 top with half the peanuts.
- 8 repeat layers.
- 9 freeze until firm, 1 hour.
- 10 cut into squares to serve.
