Peanut Butter Ice Cream Sandwich Dessert

Ingredients

  • Servings: 18
  • 19 ice cream sandwiches
  • 1 (16 ounce) jar hot fudge
  • 3/4 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 (12 ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed
  • 1 cup salted peanuts

Recipe

  • 1 pour the hot fudge into a medium microwave safe bowl and microwave 2 minutes on high. do not allow to boil.
  • 2 stir peanut butter into hot fudge until smooth.
  • 3 allow to cool to room temperature.
  • 4 line the bottom of a 9x13 inch dish with a layer of ice cream sandwiches, using 9 1/2 sandwiches.
  • 5 spread half the whipped topping over the sandwiches.
  • 6 using half the chocolate mixture, put 9 mounds on top and swirl with knife to distribute.
  • 7 top with half the peanuts.
  • 8 repeat layers.
  • 9 freeze until firm, 1 hour.
  • 10 cut into squares to serve.
