Mom's Quick Tuna

Total Time: 8 mins Preparation Time: 3 mins Cook Time: 5 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 2
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 (6 ounce) can tuna, drained
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed dried hot pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 dash hot chili powder
  • salt-free garlic and herb seasoning (optional)

Recipe

  • 1 spray a medium saucepan with nonstick cooking spray, and sauté the onion (use oil if you prefer).
  • 2 add the tuna and cook for 1 minute.
  • 3 add the salt, pepper, hot pepper, paprika and chili powder.
  • 4 cook for a few more minutes.
  • 5 i serve this with pita bread, but you can make regular sandwiches if you like.
