French Toast Sandwiches

Ingredients

- 12 slices canadian bacon
- 6 slices monterey jack cheese
- 12 slices french bread (1/2-inch thick)
- 3/4 cup eggnog
- 3 tablespoons butter or 3 tablespoons margarine
- 6 tablespoons strawberry preserves
Recipe
- 1 place two slices of canadian bacon and one slice of cheese on each of the six slices of bread.
- 2 top with remaining bread.
- 3 place eggnog in a shallow dish.
- 4 dip sandwiches in eggnog.
- 5 in a large skillet or griddle, melt butter.
- 6 cook sandwiches on both sides for 2-3 minutes or until bread is golden brown.
- 7 serve with strawberry preserves.
