Pepper Burgers, Simply The Best

Ingredients

- 1 lb ground round
- 2 green peppers
- 6 fresh basil leaves
- 1/2 teaspoon cracked black pepper
Recipe
- 1 core and seed peppers, chop into 1/2 inch pieces.
- 2 add to a pot of lightly salted boiling water for a minute or so, strain through a colander but don't rinse; cool to room temperature.
- 3 roughly mince basil leaves, add all ingredients into a large bowl and mix with your hands. divide mixture into 6 parts and shape into burgers. you can freeze them by placing patties between waxed paper, and then into containers or freezer bags.
