Melanie's Twisted Healthy Reuben Sandwich

Total Time: 10 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 5 mins

Ingredients

  • 8 slices rye bread, thinly sliced
  • 8 ounces turkey pastrami, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup red onion, cut into four thin slices
  • 8 tablespoons fat free thousand island dressing
  • 4 ounces lowfat swiss cheese
  • 1 cup sauerkraut, juice drained

Recipe

  • 1 spread dressing on each bread slice.
  • 2 build sandwiches by layering the pastrami, sauerkraut, onion, and cheese on four of the bread slices. top with the remaining four slices of bread.
  • 3 place in a 350 degree oven for a few minutes until cheese is melted and bread is toasty.
  • 4 cut in half and enjoy!
