- 2 ounces fresh ginger, peeled and thinly sliced
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 1/2 cup freshly squeezed orange juice
- 1 1/2 cups
- 1 cup white sugar
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

- blend ginger and water together in a blender until smooth.
- strain orange juice through a fine-mesh strainer into a bowl. stir ginger-water mixture, , sugar, and vanilla into the orange juice until the sugar dissolves completely.
- refrigerate until cold, at least 20 minutes.
